Discipline Policy

Dear Parents,

As part of our enrichment camp, we will also focus on aspects of leadership and be a positive role model. This includes teaching character traits, discipline, and making right choices. As in any educational learning environment, we will make every effort to prevent any accidents or injuries that could happen while your child is in our care. As any responsible parents ourselves, we will take the responsibility to use safety measures and precautions to protect your child from harm as though we are protecting our own.

Therefore, as part of our disciplinary and safety measures, if a student is disruptive, we have put the corrective actions in place.

Correcting the student by identifying the problem and redirecting the child to make better choices while in the learning environment.

Removing the student from the activity for a minimum of 5 minutes or until the child is ready to rejoin the class and activity.

Parent conference because of repeated behavior issues. (Please inform us if the student has an IEP or BIP).

Removal from enrichment camp because of constant behavioral issues that can be harmful or disruptive to others and learning environment.

Therefore, neither we, nor Temple Missionary Baptist Church will be held responsible for accidents or injuries that happened or caused to the child, due to unruliness, misbehavior, defiance, not following directions, or student’s irresponsibility to obey authority while at the facility.
