OUR PROGRAMS

Challenging young minds to "Think Outside of the Box." Welcome to our summer program of Fun, Fun, Fun Learning.

Our goal is to provide and serve students with proactive learning, fun, and creativity who perhaps would be otherwise at home watching television, playing video games, or just roaming the streets. Additionally, every day the students will be provided a nutritious lunch and an afternoon snack. At the end of the program, each student will be recognized for participation, performance, and their special projects. Members of our team are trained and certified in the areas of general education, special education, and liberal arts education. High school students are invited to participate at the camp by volunteering to receive community service hours.

Academic Enrichment

Mission

This year we are to providing a “Summer Enrichment Learning Camp” for children ages 4 -12 to keep their minds actively learning while developing new skills and having fun.  The camp will extend from June 5th - July 21st with the exception of the July 4th week. Some of the activities will include a woodshop, hand embroidery and lacing, music and keyboarding to enhance memory skills, horticulture and science activities, and role-play and skits to develop reading and writing skills. Plus we will have outdoor games, arts and crafts, board games, computer skills, and brain teasers to build critical thinking skills.

Our purpose is to:

  1. To integrate students with handicaps and disabilities with their non-handicapped and non-disabled peers in an inclusive learning environment.

  2. To bring forth creativity and allow students to express and explore their innate gifts and talents.

  3. To teach character traits and leadership skills in a positive learning environment.

  4. To build confidence and self-esteem in students by allowing them to accomplish small to large tasks.

  5. To integrate concepts related to the STAAR test in the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, and Science.

  6. To increase students’ social skills and creativity by providing a hands -on program.

  7. To help build students’ fine and large motor skills with hand and eye coordination.

  8. To help build students’ long and short term memorization skills.

  9. To help develop students’ critical thinking skills to “think outside of the box.”

  10. To allow students to enjoy and explore learning by applying everyday life skills.

  11. To provide a rigorous academic program for at-risk students.

  12.  To provide a safe learning environment for children while parents are at work.
